Ice, Ice Baby 🧊

I don’t get to do frozen droplet pics often! Central Texas had snow and ice Sunday and Monday - I am so happy this doesn’t last long and it will back to the mid 60s by today. :) This droplet is about the size of a small pencil eraser - it was so perfectly still that I was able to get this shot (handheld!)

Happy New Year! πŸ₯‚

I decided instead of my top nine this year, I would post some images that will remind me of this crazy year! It starts off with the first pic I took of the year, then writing on the window during the beginning of the quarantine, Gracie modeling the new β€œclassroom”, a bird rescue, my daughter and friends graduating high school and how they had to adapt to this craziness (and they did a wonderful job of it!) , my neighbors got chickens and a cat (and we lost our dog), crazy storms that did major damage to our neighborhood, lots of lots of bird and nature watching, and the last pic I took this year. That pretty much sums it up. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2021! ❀

Bradford Pear Leaves 🍁

It’s that time of year! I love the patters you can find. I did a few variations of a favorite leaf I found. Do you have a favorite?

Beautiful Sunday Morning 🌞

A few macro shots from this morning in the front yard

Time to Reflect 🌊

Western Gull watching the sunset (well probably looking for food, but I like to think he was watching the sunset). Every year we try to make it to San Diego and this year we did not make it. It is one of my favorite places and I am really missing the Pacific Ocean! Next year!

Santa Fe Beauty πŸ’™

There is not much in bloom in Santa Fe in early November. They had their first frost the week before we got there so I had to reach to find a few macro shots. We had the most amazing weather there so we were able to walk everywhere! I wish I had a few of the blue spruce trees in our backyard. 😊
